The cutterhead is equipped with 5 rows, 80 tungsten carbide inserts, each offering four sharp edges. These inserts last 10 times longer than traditional HSS straight knives, and when one edge dulls, simply rotate the insert 90 degrees to expose a new, sharp edge. This easy-to-install retrofit upgrade dramatically improves your thicknesser's performance, giving you smoother surfaces with less maintenance and greater efficiency.
